Get to Know Patricia (She/ Her)
Since 2021, Patricia has gained experience in client care management and clinical practice operations management through working as a clinic coordinator for various psychology and psychotherapy clinics in the Toronto and Greater Toronto Area. She has acquired meaningful experiences supporting clients on their path toward healing by assisting in the “behind-the-scenes” work through her roles such as conducting client intake consultations, coordinating scheduling and billing, referral development, and providing psychometric support through administering and scoring testing measures, and report writing for psychoeducational assessments. Patricia is excited to build on her professional skills and finally support clients directly on their path toward healing!
Born and raised in the Greater Toronto Area, Patricia embarked on her professional education journey and earned her Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from York University in 2021. Currently, she is a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology candidate at Yorkville University. She will be completing the final portion of her degree, her practicum placement, from September 2024 to April 2025 at the Journey.
Outside of academic and professional pursuits, Patricia loves the sunshine and enjoys taking daily outdoor walks (ideally with a coffee in hand) alongside her senior pup, Scooter. In her spare time, she enjoys staying active by weightlifting in the gym or taking classes such as Yoga or Pilates, spending quality time with family and friends, travelling and attending concerts.
Patricia is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (#17785).
