When life feels overwhelming, beginning the process of therapy can feel suffocating. Sometimes clients feel like adding another thing to their to-do list is going to make them fall apart. They know something needs to change, but the thought of trying something new is incomprehensible.
I specialize in supporting individuals who are feeling overwhelmed by stress and burnout. I utilize an individualized approach throughout the therapeutic process to accommodate each client’s unique experience, needs, and goals for therapy.

I strive to create a space that is calm and peaceful, where clients can come to seek relief from their busy schedules.

-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – Encourages mindfulness and flexibility, helping you see that challenges exist around you, rather than defining who you are.

-
Narrative Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Are all part of Talisa’s toolbox to help you gain insight, build resilience, and create meaningful change.

What to Expect in Your First Session
Instead of diving straight into what brought you to therapy, Talisa begins by getting to know you—your strengths, support system, and daily life. This approach, rooted in Narrative Therapy, helps her understand the resources you already have and how they can support your healing journey.

By the end of your first session, you'll work together to set therapy goals. What do you want to focus on? Is there a particular order that feels right for you? Together, you'll co-create a treatment plan tailored to your personality, needs, and aspirations.
Talisa is not currently accepting new clients.
